2019 IIHF World Junior Championship Hockey
The 2019 IIHF World Junior Championship will be played in Vancouver and Victoria, B.C., from Dec 26 to Jan 5. Ten teams are participating – Canada’s National Junior Team will play in Group A with the Czech Republic, Denmark, Russia and Switzerland.
The ten teams are divided into two groups of five teams each that will take part in the preliminary round games. In the group A there are five teams which include Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Russia and Switzerland. In the group B there are other five teams which are Finland, United States, Slovakia, Kazakhstan and Sweden. The top four teams from each group will advance to the quarter finals and the number 5 position teams will face relegation.
