The Hockey Fanatic is pleased to launch our monthly rankings of the top teams in the Canadian Hockey League.  The CHL is made up of three hockey leagues:

  • The Quebec Major Junior League (QMJHL)
  • The Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
  • The Western Hockey League (WHL)

Each monthly we rank to the top teams in the CHL.  The Canadian Hockey League consists of 60 teams in the three leagues.  Each monthly we rank #60 through to #1.

  1. Kamloops BlazersKamloops Blazers – WHL – 31 out of a possible 32 points in their first 15 games of the season.  Well done Blazers.
  2. halifax mooseheadsHalifax Moosheads – QMJHL – 30 points in their first month of the season.
  3. Rouyn-Noranda HuskiesRouyn-Noranda Huskies – QMJHL – a strong showing for teams out of the Quebec league in October.
  4. Quebec RempartsQuebec Remparts – QMJHL – a 12 and 3 record is good enough for fourth place in our CHL rankings for October.
  5. blainville-boisbriand armadaBlainville-Boisbriand Armada – QMJHL – same amount of points as the Remparts but the Armada had played one more game.
