CHL Top Prospects Game 2012 in Kelowna

The CHL Top Prospects game and skills competition is coming up later this month in Kelowna, BC.  The Canadian Hockey League in association with the Western Hockey League Kelowna Rockets Hockey Club and Home Hardware Stores Limited announced that hockey icons Pat Quinn and Mark Recchi will serve as coaches for the 2012 Home Hardware CHL/NHL Top Prospects Game to be played February 1 at Prospera Place in Kelowna, BC.  Quinn will serve behind the bench for Team Orr, and Recchi for Team Cherry.   A little ironic for those hockey fans who remember Quinn’s infamous hit on Bobby Orr in the early seventies.

The rosters have been set for the game with a couple of Kelowna Rockets participating.  I will be in attendance and cannot wait to see what the talent level will be like.    On paper I would have to say that Team Orr looks to have the better team.  Should be a great game.
