Did You Know? The final game that was played at Maple Leaf Gardens was on February 13th 1999 against the Chicago Blackhawks. The Hawks were the same team that opened the Gardens on November 12, 1931. Both games resulted in a loss for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Chicago’s Bob Probert scored the last goal at Toronto’s Maple Leaf Gardens.
